Looks like my current game projects are on a permanent hiatus for the foreseeable future. I opened up an advertising design company earlier this year, and it has been sucking up way too much of my time.

To those of you who were anticipating the next game, it'll probably be another three to five years before I get a chance to finish it. I apologize for the bad news.

On a brighter note, the wheels are still turning, and I run through game mechanics and fun concepts every night before I go to sleep, so if I ever get this company to run itself, I'll be able to hit the ground running with some epically ridiculous shit.

Let the consternation proceed. I know I deserve it.

(EDIT: And yes, I know Duke Nukem Forever beat me to launch. Who would have thought that was possible...)

=( but your other game did so well

This is a bit off topic but have you ever considered converting Drunken masters to a tablet app? I have bought your deluxe edition and love playing it on the PC, but what i really want to do is play it on my android tablet, come on, this game begs for touch screen. I have not managed to make it run so far, if anybody does know a way to make it run, plz message me.

Anyway love your work

I got it to run on my Motorola Atrix, running Android 2.3. It worked on Firefox Mobile, not sure about the native browser.

Also, regarding the touchscreen - it was damn near impossible to play on my phone. Not sure if that would change on a larger screen or not, but I still definitely recommend a mouse.

As for converting DM to an app for Android, iOS, or any other platform... I've thought about it. It's a ton of work, and I'm currently a freelance designer with a steady income, so taking time off to convert this just doesn't sound like fun.

I'm always open to collaborations though. If there's a programmer out there who wants to port this to another platform - hit me up. I'll work with you to get it made, and will split the revenue very generously.

Hope you get your site up soon. Need any design help with the company? I freelance graphics.
